  T1 (2016-17 Touch Bar):  T1 firmware lives on the macOS EFI
  partition, NOT in ROM. Full-disk install erases it -> Touch
  Bar, webcam, Touch ID, ambient light DEAD until macOS is
  reinstalled.

  16" 2019 (A2141):  i915/amdgpu boot race = black screen after
  login. Boot-param fix exists; Touch Bar won't work at that
  stage — plug in a real keyboard.

  - Omarchy is the ONLY OS after install. macOS is wiped.
  - Intel only. M-series unsupported.
  - T2 units: disable Secure Boot; hold Option at boot, pick
    the orange EFI Boot device.
  - Installer auto-detects Mac hardware: Broadcom firmware,
    SPI keyboard, NVMe suspend fix, linux-t2 kernel on T2.
